Here's a little bit about some of the members of our cast.




KAREN ZUMSTEG (Ellen Day) - A Delaware native, Karen really enjoys provoking fun and thought in audiences, whether real or imagined.  On-screen, Karen appears in Spud for Inclusion Films, and can be spotted in Pope Dreams with Julie Hagerty, Blind Luck opposite Michael Sorvino, The Next Race: The Remote Viewings, Case Tape 347, and in three Kurt Kuenne films: Shuffle, The Phone Book and Validation, a YouTube favorite at over 2.9 million views. 
On stage, Karen performed at the totally solar-powered Electric Lodge twice in 2009, both as Senator Wendy Corsica in the live episodic Affairs of State, and as the evil Ravana in a children’s adaptation of the Hindu epic The Ramayana.  Other theatre fun includes Charles Bush’s Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, the original musical spoof Lust In Space, Ibsen's The Master Builder, Donald Margulies’ Collected Stories (LA Weekly Top 11 Productions of 2005), Sam Henry Kass’ Lusting After Pipino’s Wife, David Ives’ Sure Thing, and Marat/Sade.

Catherine Carlen (Dr. Amber Thorne, LCSW) has been an actor for 35 years. She is a Lifetime member of THE ACTORS STUDIO and has worked in many off-Broadway productions and has starred in numerous TV shows and film.Catherine studied acting with the great masters of the Theater: Uta Hagen, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, and Susan Batson. She began a career as an acting teacher and coach when she received requests from stars that needed coaching in Los Angeles, including such well known actors as: Demi Moore, Nancy Allen, Lesley Ann Warren, Lela Rochon and John Diehl. In 2005 Catherine became the Drama Acting Coach on the TV show for the WB called THE STARLET with Faye Dunaway.Catherine was working with Mark Rydell at THE ACTORS STUDIO in LA and began the next love of her life ... Directing. Mark Rydell and Mark Travis started an invitation only "Directors Workshop". Under the guidance and inspiration of her mentors Catherine next challenge was to find a project to direct. This is how RUNNING OUT OF TIME IN HOLLYWOOD was born. This is Catherine's directorial debut and has been the greatest classroom she could have. The film is a raw reality look at the struggle of wanting a dream that's impossible under Hollywood rules. The film is driven by pure desire and desperation.Catherine had a great festival run in 2006 and 2007. She is currently teaching an exciting Saturday Acting Workshop in Studio City, CA. She is a very sought after Private Acting Coach who has taught in Los Angeles at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and Susan Batson's Black Nexxus.Catherine lives in Los Angeles with her producer husband Roger Biff Johnson and their beautiful daughter Carlen, with Honey and Lexi, the dogs, and Prince the cat.

Karen Tarleton (Sheila Moramarco) - Karen is an actress, voiceover artist and singer.  She has appeared in many indie feature films, most recently Bricktown; countless shorts; and television shows ranging from episodics to soaps to late-night comedy spots.  She works extensively in commercials and the theater.  Her voiceover work encompasses commercials, narrations and videogames.  Karen is a singer in both liturgical and secular/mainstream fields. 











Johnny "Angel" Wendell (Johnny Angel) For 25 years, this maniac has terrorized rock and roll clubs and the print media as "Johnny Angel", now, under his new radio monicker, he will take his guerilla/assaultive style to new heights--taking a crowbar to the closeminded, unscrubbing the brainwashed and enlightening those who dwell in the darkness. He can be heard Sundays from 8-9PM on KTLK












Federico Moramarco (Fred Moramarco) is the Founding Editor of Poetry International, an annual journal published at San Diego State University where he taught creative writing, poetry, and American Literature for many years. He is the co-author of 'Italian Pride: 101 Reasons to be Proud You're Italian,' 'Containing Multitudes: Poetry in the US Since 1950,' 'Modern American Poetry,' and co-editor of 'Men of Our Time: Male Poetry in Contemporary America.' He has acted with The Old Globe Theater in San Diego and The San Diego Rep. This is his feature film debut.


 Johanna Parker (Jo) is an actress/model and generally a decent human being. She was born and raised in Upstate New York then went to school at Syracuse University where she received a BFA in Acting. She studied and performed at UCB theater in both NY and LA and in both improv and sketch and currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Eric Appel and Daisy (her adorable dog). 



S.A. Griffin (Dr. Allen Griffin)  is a Dramalogue Award recipient, having played roles in films by several notable film directors, including Oliver Stone's World Trade Center (2006), Clint Eastwood'sPale Rider (1985), and Ivan Reitman's Twins (1988). Notable television guest star credits include Perry MasonMatlockAlien NationDesigning WomenMelrose PlaceLas VegasDexterDays of our Lives and appears as Dr. Osiris in the ride film In Search of The Obelisk directed by Douglas Trumbull at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1992.
Has appeared in over 150 commercials and was awarded the Kari Award Canada, as Best Actor in commercials.
